چکیده

Mathematical models for an adiabatic tubular chemical reactor which forms irreversible exothermic reaction are investigated by efficient numerical technique, Fibonacci Collocation method in this study. The reaction's steady-state temperature is calculated several values of three parameters, namely, Peclet and Damkohler numbers the dimensionless increment. When generated outcomes compared with other approaches, it has been sighted that presented produces reliable results type problems.

Boundary control for an industrial under-actuated tubular chemical reactor

Several control strategies are presented and studied for an industrial under-actuated tubular chemical reactor. This work presents a case-study of the performance of a decentralized versus centralized control strategy. The tubular reactor under consideration is characterized by nonlinear kinetic laws, and it has some structural constraints on the location of the heat exchangers and of the senso...

An ‎E‎ffective Numerical Technique for Solving Second Order Linear Two-Point Boundary Value Problems with Deviating Argument

Based on reproducing kernel theory, an effective numerical technique is proposed for solving second order linear two-point boundary value problems with deviating argument. In this method, reproducing kernels with Chebyshev polynomial form are used (C-RKM). The convergence and an error estimation of the method are discussed. The efficiency and the accuracy of the method is demonstrated on some n...

Chebyshev finite difference method for a two−point boundary value problems with applications to chemical reactor theory

In this paper, a Chebyshev finite difference method has been proposed in order to solve nonlinear two-point boundary value problems for second order nonlinear differential equations. A problem arising from chemical reactor theory is then considered. The approach consists of reducing the problem to a set of algebraic equations. This method can be regarded as a non-uniform finite difference schem...

An Effective Method for Seventh-Order Boundary Value Problems

In this paper, we used the Optimal Homotopy Asymptotic Method (OHAM) to find the approximate solution of seventh order linear and nonlinear boundary value problems. The approximate solution using OHAM is compared with Variational Iteration Method (VIM) and exact solutions, an excellent agreement has been observed. The approximate solution of the equations is obtained in terms of convergent seri...

An efficient numerical technique for the solution of nonlinear singular boundary value problems

In this work, a new technique based on Green’s function and the Adomian decomposition method (ADM) for solving nonlinear singular boundary value problems (SBVPs) is proposed. The technique relies on constructing Green’s function before establishing the recursive scheme for the solution components. In contrast to the existing recursive schemes based on the ADM, the proposed technique avoids solv...
